Sinopse

This is a compelling tale of two drifters desperate for work who are picked up on the road and hired to haul railroad ties. At three bucks a day, it's the best they can find and they grab it. The story brilliantly conveys the desperation of the two men without much hope and with even less luck as they get through a week of arduous work and little reward
