"The Adventure of the Abbey Grange" is one of the 56 Sherlock Holmes short stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It is included in the 13 story collection "The Return of Sherlock Holmes." Holmes rouses his good friend Dr. Watson early on a cold winter morning in 1897. "The game is afoot. Not a word! Into your clothes and come." Holmes' young acquaintance, Scotland Yard Inspector Hopkins, has asked for the detective's help on a murder.
