Parerga and Paralipomena: kleine filosofische geschriften deel 2

Samenvatting

This is the only complete English translation of one of the most significant & fascinating works of the great philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860). He's best known today for The World as Will and Representation, published in 1819; however, it was only after the publication of Parerga & Paralipomena in 1851 that his earlier writings received serious attention & won international fame for him. The 31 short essays in the 2nd volume (the Paralipomena) were regarded by Schopenhauer as complementary to his principal work.
