Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the perLibre app and perlibre.com. By using perLibre you agree to them. How we process your personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.

1. The service

perLibre is a free app for tracking books, films and series, meeting other readers and chatting, provided by independent developer Semih Başoğlu. There are no ads and no in-app purchases.

2. Who can use perLibre

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, use perLibre with your parent's or guardian's knowledge.

3. Your account

Give accurate information and keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account. An account created with "Continue without an account" can be linked to an email address at any time. You can delete your account at any time in Settings (Delete Your Account). We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

4. Your content

The content you share (thoughts, comments, notes, photos, messages) is yours. You give us a worldwide, free, non-exclusive permission to use it only to provide the service — to store, display, translate and deliver it. The permission ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to the retention periods in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for what you share and for having the right to share it.

5. Rules

The following are not allowed on perLibre:

• illegal content;
• harassment, bullying, threats and hate speech;
• nudity and sexual content; any content related to the sexual exploitation of children (removed immediately and reported to the authorities);
• encouraging violence, self-harm or suicide;
• spam, scams, unauthorised selling and advertising;
• sharing other people's personal information without permission or impersonating someone;
• copyright or trademark infringement;
• bots, automated data collection (scraping) or attempts to disrupt the service.

6. Reports and moderation

You can report content or users with the report option in the app and block users; you can also write to iletisim@perlibre.com without an account. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that breaks the rules. If we remove your content or restrict your account, we tell you why; you can appeal by writing to the same address. We have no obligation to monitor content in advance.

7. Book, film and series information

This information is compiled from TMDB, open sources, publishers' promotional information and user contributions; its accuracy is not guaranteed. Cover and poster images and promotional texts belong to their rights holders and are shown only to identify the work. If you are a rights holder and want something removed, write to iletisim@perlibre.com naming the work, where the content appears and your rights; we remove valid requests promptly.

This product uses TMDB and the TMDB APIs but is not endorsed, certified, or otherwise approved by TMDB.

8. Automatic translation

Some texts are translated automatically with artificial intelligence; translations may contain mistakes.

9. perLibre's rights

The perLibre name, logo, design and software belong to us and may not be copied or used without permission.

10. Liability

perLibre is free and provided "as is"; we do not guarantee that it will work without interruption or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

11. Changes

We may update these terms and will announce significant changes in the app. Continuing to use perLibre after a change means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Consumers keep the mandatory consumer rights of the country where they live and may use the courts of their place of residence.
